I am looking for a broker to hold my real estate license. I am current on all my real estate education requirements and dues but my license is officially inactive. I currently work for a commercial real estate company and lease properties on behalf of the REIT and/or other entities. My job is very flexible and want to utilize my spare time making some side deals.

I wouldn’t need an office and would not expect any compensation other than a commission split.

Are you sure you are even allowed to have a license?? Here in Georgia if you work for a company like you do you have to surrender your license and cannot just put on inactive status.

You need to check with your state real estate commission on this.
