These people are so crooked and can't keep their own rules straight.. They really need to re-evaluate their set-up...

I wish there were a system in which the agent could compare the cost and service of Safeguard versus a local person, and then hire the better deal. These companies get wrapped up in their national contracts and waste tons of money. That said, though, I've had some Safeguard people who were pretty good as well. Not all of them are crooks!

+1 on that 75Corvette...One of things I did was watch for the good vendors and then snag them for my non SG assets where I have control over P&M duty. I pay them without taking any of the standard SG 10% to 25% referral fee from them so they get more money and work harder to keep my REO business.

Safeguard is the worst.
I had a closet with light surface mold in it and told the AM to have it painted.
Safeguard came and ripped out all the sheetrock and left it in a big pile in the garage.
They made the house much harder to sell.
They did the cleanout and stuffed the garbage into the steal shed in the back yard.
The worst!!!
But also the BIGGEST!!!

Does anyone know what code Safeguard is using on their REO properties. I have an HOA blaming me for they left a lockbox hanging in the building front gate. Called them and they said cut it off like that is so simple to do. Please PM the code don't display it here.

Thanks,

That should depend on the servicer. They shouldn't be using a universal lock box code---that is soooooo 2006!

I agree worked with a safeguard vendor and it was a nightmare between the constant changes and trying to charge back completed work I will have to probably put a lien on over 18 properties just to get paid. Safeguard is smoke and mirrors find a reliable honest local company.
