I was emailed this morning saying that I had been nominated as the top agent in my area, and they'd like to interview me. As a new-ish agent, I was a little surprised.

Has anyone had experience with this magazine? It looks like a legitimate magazine, and I don't see any reason not to do it. Just hesitant after all the call this month of people tryinmg to sell me things!

Since your a newist agent, I'd be surprised that your the top agent in your area, so becareful.

But never turn down a chance to be interviewed and get your name published. Even if you just turn it into a tag line you use "interviewed by top agent magazine".

Just wait for them to tell you what it costs...

I have been approcached by similar programs. If its cheaper than a newspaper ad then it may be worth the exposure even if you create it.

LOL - I got "nominated" too a few weeks ago. I actually bought it at first because I am a very productive agent and had just won an award ( a real one! lol). So they said if I was "chosen" they would publish my interview in their magazine, and when would I be free for the interview?
The follow up was - for only $X you can have a copy of your interview whether you are chose or not...blah, blah.
Its just a very creative extended sales pitch. $350 (?) as I recall for them to interview you and send you the interview and then you can tell others you were "interviewed". LOFL.
Spend your money on something more useful.
