I thought it would be a close game if the Giants won or a blowout if the Patriots won. I wasn't too far off I guess. Good game that could have been improved by the Giants being replaced by the Browns. I can dream...

So how many agents ran right out to buy the new Madonna CD this morning?

She looked great. I wouldn't have chosen those spiked-heel boots to dance around on, though. She looked and moved like she was afraid of falling in them.

So, was she lip-synching?

The bigger question is how many agents forgot the superbowl was on and ran an empty openhouse?

I've had plenty of empty open houses even when it WASN'T Super Bowl Sunday! I hate open houses!

Me, too. I can't imaging her not being out of breath after all those squat-thrusts she was doing-- but her singing didn't reflect that.

Soooooo... is Eli an "elite quarterback"? And, is Brady over-rated? I liked what Brady's wife said in response to some criticism he was getting: "My husband can't throw the ball AND catch the ball!" I kinda think at least two of his passes were catchable.

Neither of the teams are my favorites, but I picked the Giants mainly because I thought Brady would get frustrated if he wasn't getting the best results. He's very hard on himself.

She was definitely lip synching, which was ok for me vs the nasty job of real singing the black eyed peas did last year..

Found out from an article that she actually had a pulled hamstring and was why she looked timid, dam give her credit for moving around with pain like that.

UGH, I forgot about the Black Eyed Peas. They are a black eye on all things music. My favorite Super Bowl performance of all time is Tom Petty. I'm a huge Beatles fan and Paul is an awesome artist, but he was pretty ho-hum at the Super Bowl. And the Strolling Bones were awful, as was Bruce Springsteen, IMHO. It's weird cuz I like all of those artists/bands, but most of the time I'm just underwhelmed by the Super Bowl halftime show.

One report I heard said the production was a blend of recorded tracks and live vocals. Seems like it could be the case. I thought she pulled it off. Never one of my favs, but she still has some oomph in my book. I would not know a Lady Gaga song from a Raffi song. But Madonna is still a standout.

I don't remember where I saw it, but some guy said he watched the halftime show and now it HURTS to pee!

I know one part that was live, the chick who decided to flip off the camera, real classy act there miss gangsta....

Just when I thought there could be nothing more dreary and fake-hip/"edgy" than the SuperBowl Halftime Show including the "gesture" (yawn)-- you find something!

Music and performances and videos in the last many years have just become so dreary. So tedious. So predictable, so boring.

Um, that commercial with Elton John (who has real talent, or had real talent)-- why wasn't he dressed as a Queen? Was that the "in" joke dressing him as a King? Tedious. Boring.

Great but somewhere along the line she missed the course on manners, guess their MIA, she's a joke.

Is anyone still even offended by the middle finger anymore? Just seems...I dunno...too cliche to be taken seriously.

I was in a room with five other people watching the halftime and no one mentioned or saw it.

No one saw it at my place either. When I watched the playback later I thought it was an index finger. Pretty much ho-hum for me. Getting flipped off by some rapper is not on my register of things to worry about.
