Hi all,
My name is Jamie and I am from the metro-Detroit area. Today was the first day of my pre-license class. Interesting to say the least.
In Michigan we need a 40 hours of instruction (with a mid-term and final) before we can sit for the license test. Our class finishes up on Friday. Quick and dirty seemed like the way to go. I was also pleasantly surprised to find out during my walk-in registration that there was a tuition sale. The $225 class and the $30 book were on sale for only $100.
Speaking of the book....what a precious little disaster. It is written poorly and set up worse. We all got a chuckle out of this little nugget, "Likelihood of a national bubble: While certain areas of the country may experience a temporary bubble or economic downturn, the likelihood of a national housing bubble is relatively low."
I'm not sure where real estate will take me but I am ready for a fun ride. I will be buying a personal residence shortly and will recoup my investment there. Anything after that is pure gravy!
Thanks for listening and I hope I don't bug the vets too much.
Jamie
