I have been doing BPO's and REO's for about 7 years now. REO has just about dried up for me, and the BPO's are still doing okay. I am moving out of state in less than a year, and will be starting over in the new area. However in the meantime I would like to save as much money as possible to help me fund the move and to start my new business. Right now I am looking for more sources of income before I move. Maybe some new ways of picking up buyers? I have only done a few short sales, so I think I want to avoid that route. Is there anything else I can do that's related to real estate to bring in more income?
One thing I am going to start doing again is find good deals on homes. I will then make a flyer and pass it out in the neighborhood. I did that before listing REO and had good success. I was also making signs and putting them in the neighborhood as well.
Basically is there anything you recommend to bring in buyer leads? Maybe another source of income that's related to real estate?
