I took some pics that got returned due to being too dark. Probably about 10 minutes late. Any tricks or online or otherwise photo editors where i can maybe lighten these up or do a contrast "trick" I have to go back out Saturday but I'd rather not retake pics if I don't have to. I did a search on the forum but got nothing. Thanks for any replies.

If you have MS Office 2007 (and it may also be on an older version) you can open the photo in Windows Photo viewer, then on the top bar click on OPEN and open it in MS Office Picture Manager. One of the choices on the top bar is AUTO CORRECT, clicking that will lighten it generally. If it needs to be lighter, click on EDIT, the choose BRIGHTNESS AND CONTRAST on the right side menu. You can then lighten it more.

Image Viewer 4.6 is all you'll need, and it's free! I've used it for years.

I use Picasa too for this and other stuff. I love that you can use it to straighten a crooked picture.

I totally LOVE FastStone Image Viewer. I use it to select pics I want to save and where I want to save them. I don't use it for editing though because I have some higher power programs. But the price is certainly right.
