We have just beta launched our HomeCLUE Home History Report, which is similar in concept to a CARFAX report for pre-owned homes. I am also a real estate broker so I expect a high number of negative comments about this product from real estate agents. It was developed out of my frustration with the high level of real estate agents who suffer from "commission fever" who will chase the sale and commission before they provide access to importunate due diligence information the buyer should or may want to know.

I understand that agents will also say the information in the Home History Report is already available. Before you say that be sure you check it out. There ate plenty of public data sites, but very few if any that interpret the data and provide actionable information.
