Just wondering if most police departments cancel evictions that are scheduled if its raining with a 100% chance of rain / thunderstorms all day on the day of the eviction.

Generally, at least in GA you have to sit personal property out for 24 hours. However I'm thinking the weather would affect evictions.

Eviction is a court order. Weather doesn't matter. Unless there's like a tornado/hurricane/blizzard - when all but emergency vehicles have to stay off the roads. If the weather is icky, the property usually ends up getting stored, it depends on the county up here anyway. Check with your local sheriff's dept, it can vary not only based on county but based on city on how & where things work.

In addition to being a scientist, I am also a cop. Evictions are amongst the hardest things for a cop. Unfortunately, we are following a court order, and weather will not necessarily impact the proceedings. Usually, it is not up to the enforcement agency.
