Interesting because I often wonder myself if one exists...but then I assume your scope of TMS is the same as mine. Morethan likely it would be web server based.

We use Quickbooks Pro; Office 2003, Pocket Real Estate but most of the REO clients have their own method of management from IM to OMS sites complete with library and online input for maintenance.

With MS XP OS we sync and port to wireless broadband MS Mobile PPC keeping native. We have not used any template overlays for Office that is offered as RE specific by Proctor, although they say they can customize I saw no financial section either. Borran may have a product Backoffice as I understand at this URL: www.borran.com

I got a survey recently from one of the REO companies--sorry, can't remember which one; I think maybe Keystone. They were asking if I would use one and what it should include. I hope they do it, and I hope it is good!

I have seen good things with REOAMS for agents. It is $100/mo and another $50 for each sub user.

This site is a wonderful reference. If you find a few (or a bunch) that sound good, you can post names on here to get feedback.

If you join the NRBA (National REO Broker's Association) they have a transaction management software through Evergreen that is part of the reources they offer members.

That sounds like the best place to start. One designed for REO agents would be better for Diane...more customized.

Does any one know of any other transaction management software not listed above. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I tried it but did not think that it fit my needs. I do think that it is a good program for agents starting out but I need a more advanced version of what they offer.

I would recommend Fidelity AGENT OFFICE software.

I did REO Listings for 3 years, until my high blood pressure made me sloooww down. I was handling an average of 30-45 homes a month, with 8-10 closings/month. I did the Filemaker database with Quicken, and I did ACT, and a few other non typical software packages. I can say that AGENT OFFICE was not perfect, but it was 80-85% perfect for me. Besides the usual stuff--(calender, phone list, etc) One feature I loved was being able to make notes on the fly and they would be attached to a property. IE: I had a Palm Pilot, the software comes with a mini version to use on PALM. If there was a phone call, or an offer came in, or a problem with a home, what ever, I just noted the notes down in the palm, it attached a TIME and DATE to the note, and then to the property. Emails also. So when I did a monthly report to the Asset Manager, then I just printed out the CMA--(included with software-just add comps), printed out my monthly activity sheet, and WOW--it looked like a bunch of stuff was happening on the home. Also, it helps when an Overworked Asset Manager can't remember talking with you about a problem getting a Title during a closing, and you have proof for them. Protects you too. I have an older version, but if the Ver 9 is an upgrade to what I am using (Ver 5) then it must be a better program for your needs. Try it out.

I have customized Top Producer with an REO listing and REO closing plan; my next step is to copy that plan and then customize it by client (ie some like their MMRs every 30 days, some on the 5th of the month - every company is different). I'm hoping this will suffice for transaction management; I like that it is very customizable. Has anyone else tried Top Producer?
