Please help me evaluate my website. www.webstersells.comLook at it from the eyes of a buyer. I have to still get the IDX and area stuff populated this weekend on the search for home pages. But overall if you guys could look at it and tell me what you think, change, or like about it. Its 85% done so there are a few more things to pop in there. Thanks, Erik

Eric, that goods very good, overall. A few good "calls to action", guarantees, etc. I don't know if it is a mistake, but in the "about me" section, where they fill out contact information, you ask for their mail address? Did you mean email?
Let us know when it is complete. Did you do it all yourself? Great job, IMO. I didn't see any identification as to what platform this is built on. Is it Wordpress, or something else?

Hi, It is good from users perspective. But you can make it better. I think, you have to add a link or video showing the listing of houses, rentals you have. This will be more attractive then, while a user visit your site to buy a house he/she have very few options (and they are in the footers). Just make some updates time-to-time.

Hi, It is good and attractive from users perspective. From SEO point of view you have to add more content.

I would change the position of your webstersells.com logo. It looks like a huge ad, probably because you would not expect a logo in that place.
You could probably replace it with something more meaningful - like what's your website all about. You sell homes in Pembroke Pine and other communities in FL - that should go in that place.

The meta title for each page has keller williams in it which is a waste of very valuable space.
this title will get you way more exposure 'pembroke homes, real estate and property for sale'
you could actually ad a couple of more towns to the title. I have done this, against the advice of the pros, and it really does work. The same goes for the titles on all your pages. Make them relevant to the page and stop pushing your company on your website.
My title are as big as allowed and all the keywords in the titles show up in the serps.
Next, get rid of your picture. This is so old school i can't believe people still use pictures. The problem is people make first impressions based on that picture. For every client who says I picked you because I liked your picture there will be a lost client who did not choose you because of your picture.
Nothing against you or your picture. It is just that people are so fickle and make decisions on the most superfluous things that you don't want to chase anyone away before they give you a chance to impress them with your ability.

I am of quite the different opinion. Since real estate deals with people, their emotions, their dreams, their wants and their needs, you inevitably end up with some type of relationship. Buying a home is a personal thing. It's not like some dude or dudette out there writing you a Will or a Living Trust - you see them one or two times whereas real estate is like a contact sport. They're going to be with you for many hours, many days, many weeks.
I'd want to SEE who I am dealing with first. I'd rather they SEE me and don't like my looks at the very beginning than versus putting many, many hours of talk, email and listing time in to them to have them meet me and then receive an email (cause they'd be too chicken to say it over the phone or in person) that they've decided to work with someone else. Sorry, but society IS based, in great deal, on 'looks'. Disappoint me upfront (viewing photos) and stop messing with my life (not viewing a photo and then meeting in person). If you don't like the looks of someone, it's going to be very difficult to build a relationship. Many claim buyer/sellers just want information and for us to get the job done; but, it still comes down to 'looks' no matter what anyone says.

This is just your opinion. What I said is not my opinion. It is tried and tested and it works.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
