There would be no Christmas as the world would have ended. What it will do is make people not shop until 12/22 when they are sure the end has not came. No Crowds on Black Friday next year.

Maybe we could recruit Prince to do a new song! Since he totally blew it with "1999," a new song would then negate the prophecy, or whatever it is. He'll have a hard time rhyming with "twelve" though.

The word "shelve" comes to mind.

Maybe if December 2012 is "the end of the world as we know it," we'll all feel fine when Jim Morrison rises from the dead to once again sing, "The End." Of course, if those rumors from years back about Jim and Elvis faking their deaths and living in the South Seas are true, then I'm sure he's too old and bloated to sing it. So we're screwed.
