Is this what the Mayans predicted? will the world come to an end on 12/21/12? Is this prediction corroborated by other sources? that would put a serious damper on xmas festivities in 2012, wouldn't it?

He'll have a hard time rhyming with "twelve" though. The word "shelve" comes to mind. When the clock strikes 12 on 12-12-12 We'll just have to shelve All the plans for our future Oooo, aaaahhhhhh! (lots of "Twang" in there)

There would be no Christmas as the world would have ended. What it will do is make people not shop until 12/22 when they are sure the end has not came. No Crowds on Black Friday next year. good point. LOL honestly, does anyone listen to the Mayans anymore? aren't their current descendants usually hotel maids? LOL

Yeh, your lyrics are from the Prince song 75 Corvette was referring to above. TEOTWAKI was by R.E.M.
Both songs are fantastic!

Barb, you are a rare bird indeed. A "church lady" who follows the hip music industry.
In all honesty, up until now, I visualized Barb as the "church lady" played by Dana Carvey on SNL.
LOL

I saw Elvis at the Piggly Wiggly last week. He said "Thank you very much".

My guess would be ice cream bars. He was eating up to 40 of them a day near the end and may have had one in hand when he died on the toilet. What a way to go.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
