In light of GAR's decision to charge non-member licensees an annual fee of $199 to use GAR forms, I'm curious what most Georgia agents / brokers will do.

Closing attorneys Morris Hardwick and Schneider have announced that they will develop alternate forms and distribute them for free via FMLS and GAMLS.

So, which forms will you use in 2012? Please respond to the poll.

Surprised there's not more interest on the subject. Non-REALTORS have until Jan 24 to decide what to do, after which GAR forms won't be available to them on GAMLS or FMLS.

I will use the generic forms. Since they will be drafted by attornesy, I'm more than comfortable that the proper verbage will be on them. I can't see paying $199 to use the GAR forms. In the future, I "may" consider joining a Board of Realtors, but with past experiences, other than being able to use the term Realtor, I can't see paying at minimal $300 to be a member. It didn't benefit me in the past....only cost me extra money.

GAR is nothing but a union looking for some money because they are loosing members. They are shooting themself in the foot.
