I'm seriously considering switching my domain over to Virtual Results http://virtualresults.net/ . Has anyone worked with them in the past or are you a current client. I'd love to hear the good, bad, and the ugly. Thanks in advance.

I am curious on why you would chose 'Virtual Results'?

Are you thinking of having them do everything for you, a custom website, or a template you can work on.

Do they have any limits on number of pages, etc? I see they are really a 'Wordpress' blog page converted - which is fine - but they have some limitations, and I only saw a few choices.

The cost also seemed a bit high - but I didn't really see a total cost of setting up the blog, adding and integrating IDX and seeing what their annual fees are.

btw I should add - Our dear forum owner also has some great real estate websites.

Right now I still have one with Advanced Access - the have improved many things in the past year or so - but I am unsure where they are heading. The unlimited number pages they offer and now their clean urls really helps - but currently their instructions leave a little to be desired.

I started a thread elsewhere asking about agents with Advanced Access sites - maybe it would have been better in this section.

Keep us posted.

Virtual Results has a great product, but Diverse Solutions IDX needs to service your MLS unless you go fully custom. Their template site with DS is a great combo and get's some good results.

I've done an extensive amount of research with RE sites to find the best solution. Top 4 being Virtual Results, Real Estate Webmasters, Displet, Real Geeks. Check them out and see which one you like best. They all have the best IDX integrations you can get.

I agree with REW being great - it is a commitment - and they do produce - but like I said it is a commitment. I have one of their template sites that has yet to go live I purchased when times were better - but I question if my market can support it at the moment if it went live now - so I am waiting - perhaps not a wise decision.

My Advanced Access site ranks well - and I can do anything I want to with it but the IDX integration interface is lacking in my opinion for this day and time - but probably way ahead of most agents requirements.

I'll check out those others you listed - as I am not sure if I have come across Displet or Real Geeks before.

I too have checked into this for years - if you don't use one of our sponsors sites - which are great - give REW a call - they have specials that are great and usually start about this time of the year - tell Morgan I sent you - lol - they are innovative, pricey, but a good product for sure.

Advanced Access is changing as I write - I think Dominion has the idea to make Advanced Access the best bang for the buck for template sites and minimal IDX capabilities - but creative and knowledgeable people can do things with them if they work at it.

Yes it is a very big commitment. My new REW template is in my signature which I've been working on expanding. New domain and new site so working my way back up the rankings. Lots of work but it will all pay off in the end.

I need to catch up on the new players.

Advanced Access real estate sites have long been the easiest to get started in and cheapest to continue with - but not without some issues - well a lot of issues at one point.

Real Estate Webmasters are very helpful, have great SEO potential, very innovative - but pricey for some markets or pockets. They're kind of everything Advanced Access is not.

But it would be a project if we gathered our Intel and compared all of the choices as I haven't seen any Virtual Results sites in action yet.

Good Luck with the REW site - keep us posted on your success.

There are so many real estate solutions out there for IDX that it's almost ridiculous.

I will say that I think Drew is doing an excellent job with GeekEstateBlog (GEB). I'm exploring the marketing/SEO side of things and I think how he's integrated with a couple of other brokers to drive traffic is important. I wish more local brokers were doing the same thing in order to compete with Trulia and Realtor.
