Any interest in custom logo soap for the bathrooms?

So, I make soap, and I'm wondering if there would be any demand for guest-size bars, customized with a carved logo or text, for the bathrooms of homes for sale. (I know it's considered gauche to use the bathrooms in a for-sale house, but it must happen.)
Cost-wise, the bars would be 2" X 3" and cost about $0.99 - $1.50 each, depending on quantity, plus a 1-time $50 mold charge. The surface could have a logo, the agent's name, "Welcome Home", basically anything like that.
Any use for something like that? Is the price right?
Thanks for any feedback.

Maybe not for use in Homes For Sale; . . . . but possibly:
A 5 or 10 year supply of soap could be a good Closing Gift. One that is used.
It could be a daily reminder to the Buyer that "I cleaned up on you" . . . . something to think about.
Just kidding about the slogan; but this concept could probably be fleshed out to have some real value . . . . maybe moreso with the large franchises.
What's the shelf life of soap? I wouldn't want to give any "stale soap"!
I've only used 4 Oz Ivory Bath Bars for decades, and I buy them in quantity when they're on sale, so I might have them for well over a year before being used.
Can your soap be labeled as "vegetarian" soap, or certified as having been made from fats drawn from "non-animal sources" ? I know some of my vegan buyers would have a fit if they discovered they were bathing in soap made from tallow, a bi-product of meat processing . . . . that would not be good!
Vegetarians won't eat animals, but they'll take the fat that's rendered from animal carcasses and smear it all over their bodies while lathering up in the shower! How cool is that? . . . . a bit hypocritical if you take the time to think about it. But I guess most people don't want to think about it.
You should have seen the vegetarians squirm as I told them what Jell-O was made of!
But I digress.

Vermont: "What's the shelf life of soap? I wouldn't want to give any "stale soap"!" Depends on what you put into it. Artisan "fancy" soaps have higher oil and glycerine content than commercial soaps, which means they're nicer to the skin but they can go bad under the right circumstances. Vermont: "Can your soap be labeled as "vegetarian" soap, or certified as having been made from fats drawn from "non-animal sources" ?" Oh, yeah, making either vegan or vegetarian soap is easier than using animal fat sources. VABroker: "My public bathrooms have liquid soap. I would never use a 'bar' of soap at anyone's house, nor a house for sale, nor an open house." Fair enough. Thanks for your feedback!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
