I just finished my course and am going to be signing up to take the PSI within the next 2 weeks. Does anyone have any feedback on the PA exam?

Took it about a month ago. Make sure you know your Fair Housing stuff and the differences between federal and PA specific stuff.

Otherwise...don't stress too much over it. If you know your stuff, you'll do fine. Breezed through the exam (both portions) in about 40 minutes.

I thought it was easy. Definitely focus on the PA specific stuff.

Perky's right. There are only 30 questions on the PA test (versus 90 on the national portion), so the margin for error is much smaller to get the required 75% correct.

Great, step one completed. This gives you the license to hunt, now you must learn how to hunt, that is step two. Figure out what your hunting and go find em, but please don't follow the example of certain politicians and shoot your fellow hunters.

I did VA's test, but, like the others have said - make sure you know the differences between the State and the Federal stuff - alot of agents get the differences confused and slip up on it - just takes one little word.

I just re-newed by broker's license and was appalled that I missed one question! When I found out the question was on prospecting, the school said I could take the test over again. Told them it was the dumbest question ever (and, of course, I failed that question). If it had been a regs., rules, or a technical question, I'd be upset but for a prospecting question, I'll stick to my 97% score. The question was, "What is the purpose of prospecting?" It wasn't a technical question, such as, "Can you prospect on the telephone without checking the DNC list first?"

The Pennsylvania test when I took it (WAAAAYYYYY back in July) had a whole bunch of questions just like that one. What a pain in the neck.

The dumb questions are just dumb - meaning, I, personally, get no real educational benefit from them. Give me the technical ones. I don't need a question that says 'pick the answer that is not a form of prospecting'. I can only think that they are there to help those who can't correctly answer the technical questions. Yea, I gotta dumb one wrong. Do doctors and lawyers get dumb questions like that?
