Sure would have been nice to know which Thread you were talking about a year ago.

I am not anywhere near the knowledgeable one as others on this Forum and I certainly don't go around comparing this to that all the time or I'd never get any real estate done.

Are you happy with Point2? I know I've checked other agents' sites and they use Point2 also. I use PropertyMinder (PM). For the most part, it's inexpensive and does most of the basic things I want it to do. It ain't fancy, but, fancy gets complicated and folks don't want to go to a complicated website.

Z-57 was trying to sell me again this year (they seem to do it every year). I did have them for the 30 day trial a few years ago but I was too busy to deal with setting up another website so I dropped it. They called me this year and I told them that they are like everyone else, making all these promises - one of which they have lead generation. I, of course, told them that yes they did but I would also have to pay EXTRA for lead generation when I can pay for my own and control my own. That part just seems to be more money in their pocket. I had them down to where I would have to pay only $45/mo. for life for their website. I was soooo tempted, but, I just don't have the time nor patience to set everything up again - particularly all the contacts I have on my PM website now.

If you really like this LinkU and believe it will give you and potential clients a good experience, then why not go for it? Only you can make that decision. I hope others can give you insight into LinkU.

You shouldn't make your decision on going about your website by getting three months free. You should consider what really matters. Is the website going to help you grow your business?

In my opinion, LinkU is one of many services that can help real estate agents with tools for helping their websites attract visitors, but it should be used in combination with other features out there. There are widgets and infographics, plus blog feeds which create fresh content and help make the realtors appear like they are 'on top of their game.' Movoto.com is a site which has features like this. You can download their personalized widget for free here: http://www.movoto.com/tools.
