I'm just putting the final touches on my site, and could use some constructive criticism. Please let me know of any suggestions to improve it. I'm still working with someone to help with the SEO and writing content, but most of the "meat" is there. site: www.KaneoheRE.comThanks!!! Very clean and modern easy to navigate. Was there any reason you went with Diverse Solutions for the idx over maybe idxbroker? You blog content was very interesting. Did you do the site yourself? All looks good to me. Do you have a limit on the number of searches they can do before they have to register?

Aloha Hula,
Take my critique with a grain of salt, as my emphasis is mostly on SEO:
* Titles - Meta titles are not very descriptive. I'm not suggesting being spammy by keyword stuffing, but every page that I saw had 'Shauna Kahiapo' as part of the meta title.
* IDX - Is there a way for you to use dynamic meta titles for the IDX portion of your site? Although listings are syndicated and there is nothing particularly unique about any website's use of IDX, meta titles/description is a way to differentiate yourself from competitors by using dynamic elements (provided that it's available by your IDX vendor).
* Design - Although the background picture is a bit distracting, overall it is a clean design and easy to navigate.
* Content - I fully realize that this is a new site and you will be pouring countless hours into making it exemplary. With that in mind, I'd advise to focus on creating pages with unique content. Sure, what you may have to say may have already been said a hundred times on other sites, but give it YOUR spin, YOUR perspective. Provide insightful information that can make you seem like a community expert, it will go a long way towards conversion rates.
By the way, what brokerage are you with? I didn't see that information anywhere on your site. Also, your use of the word 'Realtor' may be a trademark infringement (I'm not a legal expert, perhaps your broker can give you better guidance on that). It'd be best to proactively fix any omissions/errors than to be reported and then facing consequences. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to discuss further in more detail.
All in all, good job.

Thanks Maui!!! I really appreciate the feedback.
Titles - I'm not sure what meta titles are, but I'll be sure to bring it up with the guy who is going to help me with the SEO part.
IDX - Same with this one
Design - I'll think about fading the background photo a bit so it's not so distracting
Content - I do want to give it my own "flavor" and I think with time, I can rework the pages to reflect more of my personality and what makes me unique
I do need to add my brokerage, but I need to wait until the review it completely before I can put their log on it.
Totally forgot about the Realtor trademark/copyright. I'll be sure to add it on wherever it appears on the site.
Thanks so much for the feedback!!! I will definitely work with your suggestions. :)

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
