My family and I are moving to the las vegas area in Sept and was wondering if the vegas market is good idea to buy. I am military so I will eventually have to move and possibly have to sale and rent the home 5-8 years from now any info would be great thanks.

I am a Real Estate Agent in the Las Vegas area. I have lived here since 1986 and have been an agent for 12 years. Las Vegas is actually a great market if you are buying. We are at 1980's price levels. Never has there been a better time to buy a house here. When the economy recovers, and it will, Las Vegas properties will most probably go up quite well.
