Hi, but as a new agent to be, I would want the backing of my broker and all the people that can help me in person. To me, it's about interaction with people and understanding all the elements of being a top notch agent. Talking about deals and learning from others in your office to formulate your own game plan. It's interaction with your peers and clients. Just my thoughts...
Hi ScottyOK from a former Yukonite: I interviewed with a lot of brokers in the last two months and the one that impressed meet the most was the one that told me the following things.
1. Told me about about all of their free training programs.
2. Showed me all the offices and equipment that was available to me.
3.Introduced me to some of the agents there and told me how everyone helped one another and got along really well. I sensed that was the case there.
4. Broker told me she was there for me 24/7.
5. Answered all my questions very well. I had some that could not or would not answer my questions.
6. Ask me questions about myself and my goals.
7. Explained their commission splits to me in detail.
The lady I met with was the managing broker for two of several offices. I had a follow up call from the owner/designated broker asking if all my questions had been answered and if he could help me with anything. One thing I have to say is their commissions were not as good as some of the others but in my opinion as a new agent the other things made up for it. As a new agent I feel it helps to work in an office with a harmonious atmosphere and one that has an abundance of training. If you send me a PM I can send you a list with
100 questions to ask the broker when you interview. Some I agreed with and some I did not. Good luck in OKC.
