Wow, I dont even know where to start! We are hosting our first open house this Sat and Sun 1-4 pm. Our broker asked what we were going to use for signs, and we just got a blank look on our faces. How could we forget to buy signs!!!!???? We work with a spectacular office, and one of the other agents said we were free to use hers until we get rolling. (they dont say her name or anything). I now need to know your opinions on the best place to buy signs online? I want the 36" for sale/listed by hangers, and 'a' frame signs saying 'open house'. I would also like our names to be on both of the signs, not on the riders. All on Century 21 background.
Does anyone have any ideas?? I appreciate it!!!!

Thank you for the tips! I didnt even think of asking my broker, i thought it was just one of those things that i should have known to had. I need to ask about 21online, our office manager had surgery the day after we started so she's been out and handles all of that. I really appreciate your help!

I feel so dumb, i went to our training meeting this morning and after i asked about getting signs. I told him i was looking and i didnt realize how expensive they were and he gave me this puzzled face and asked "Do you not like our office supplier? It's her job to get you things like that, but, if you insist on doing it outside I wont stop you." So i found out, we have a person that does nothing but our marketing materials, and she's a SHARP lady. She really knew her stuff, and gave me all kinds of new ideas for marketing materials. Long story short: I feel dumb, I really should just ask people i work with

One last thing... MAKE SURE you know the cities or communities rules about Open House signs. The signs you described above would be collected and you would be fined if you used them here in most cities on Southern California. In most cities around here in South Orange County, you are ONLY allowed 24" x 8" green or red arrow with the word open house in it. NO other graphics or writing is allowed except for a very small personal ID marking so you know which signs are yours. And the placement of the signs is also very regulated. I'm sure this is all for the benefit of the community... stopping large tacky signs with balloons and banners and such... I learned the placement rule the hard way... I stuck a sign in the parkway because it was the best viewable position. Well at the end of the day the sign was gone, but the stand had a little ticket on it. To get our sign back, we had to go to city hall and pick it up, along with a bigger ticket and a fine. (the fine was more then the sign costs... so if we get one again, they can have the sign!

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
