Hi
I'm a website developer and have designed a few websites for Realtors.

I have a new idea about developing a service where Realtors can easily create a mini-mobile website for each listing. Mobile - meaning mobile optimized for smartphones. It would look sort of like an app, except viewable with your smartphone-s web browser (no downloads required).

Each listing would have it's own short url and QR code to easily promote it on your marketing materials.

Is my idea something that you would use? And if it is, how much would you be willing to pay for it?

Looking forward to your feedback. Please help me by replying to this post. Thanks!

As you will find, most real estate professionals look for cost-effective marketing tools that will have a relatively high return on investment. I can't see myself paying more than $10 a month per listing for the kind of service that you are describing.

I think mobile apps are a great way for real estate professionals to showcase that they are up-to-date with the newest and greatest marketing techniques and makes them appear more in tuned with the marketplace etc, but don't think that many will pay too much of a premium for it (because they already feel like they have to pay for one to be on their personal websites and all of that). I could see, however, some paying anywhere from 10-20/month for it, but would be interested to see how large the market would be for it. But in my opinion 20 would be a very high number considering they could get a site for near that per month. Let us know what you decide to do, would be interested in seeing how something like this comes out.

We use QR codes on all of our flyers and signs which connect directly to a mobile-formatted virtual tour of the property. Very effective!

Sounds like something Realtors would use. Dont expect people to jump on it because most Realtors dont understand the web.
