Hello
My family is looking at a house accross a church. Is it a good option, easy to sell later on in case we have to relocate? Is it good for resale value?
Thanks Alpha

I think so.
I have had success selling across form a cemetary and also from a funeral home.
A church is a very positive thing to state the obvious; it brings lots of positive energy to an area, even to those who are not involved in the church. Children, ministries, music, worship, prayer, charity.
I'd first go attend a couple of services at the church if it would make you feel more comfortable. It will give you a chance to know the people there. You will learn alot about the area if you stay for coffee and cookies after service.
Cheers

Unless it's a church that practices Santaria or maybe Devil worship, you generally get pretty nice people that attend and congregate at a church.

The only concern I've noticed is parking. Does the church have enough parking for the congregation, and does the parking area provide for a good in/out traffic pattern? If the parking doesn't disrupt the neighborhood, then no problem.

Yes "Parking" and of course those always rowdy Choir Practices.
I had one Church which was cited for a Zoning Infraction because of the traffic congestion . . . . which they claimed was out of their control, so then the troubled neighbor brought in a claim of excessive noise due to those frequent Choir practices (usually on week-nights).
Ultimately, they were encouraged to move to a neighborhood that was more conducive to their activities. And shortly after the Church left, the guy with the gripe departed this realm anyway.

Alpharetta, unless it's out-of-the-norm circumstances, I would say that there isn't any stigma attached to being across the street from a church (but obviously take into account how traffic patterns may hinder your enjoyment of your property). Have you visited the area on days that the church has services? That could give you a much better indication of how having a church as a neighbor could impact your home ownership. Best of luck.

To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
