For those who have a successful FB page with a significant amount of 'likes' (and have continued to increase that number continuously), any tips on how to get more 'likes'? Although I'm not a big fan of FB, I have a page and haven't had a single more 'like' in over 3 months.

I get new likes when people visit my page from my website, but not many. I only have about 168 "Likes" anyway. I originally did a big push begging for likes from everyone so I could get my vanity URL, so a bunch of the "likes" I have are from people who haven't the least bit of interest but wanted to help me. LOL.

I get most of my interaction from friends or from my profile page.

Interestingly enough, I got a FB message and friend request today from someone who was first on my website and went to my FB PROFILE, not my business page!

Yes, I did it (thank you! :)) using the now defunct FBML mark up language. (a stripped down HTML of sorts. I just made a narrow page in my HTML editor and copied/pasted the code) Not sure how to do one now...since FBML is no longer supported for new pages.

I don't have much idea about Facebook marketing but I heard that there are some sites who provide likes on our pages. Do you guys think that this is beneficial to our marketing term?

I hope so, it certainly inspires more credibility if we have a "following". I just made my page a couple of days ago, so please "like" my page and i will be sure to return the favor!

Keep in mind that according to Buddy Media research, people respond to Facebook posts most often:

- on Wednesdays versus other days
- in the morning versus afternoon or night
- to questions such as "why" or "would you" versus "what" or "who"

These tips will get you many more replies, likes, and shares. Organic traffic rocks!

You can go to fiverr.com and pay $5 for 200 likes. Just make sure you segment those people into a group so you can go back and deleate them once you build your own fans.

Why would you do this? Google is now indexing Facebook comments and pages plus, after about 500 fans your page will show up when someone searches on Facebook!

Facebook is awesome for agents, just don't get sucked in to long!
