Some of the real estate agents on our team here in Minnesota are finding it to be an effective tool as well. When out showing various MN MLS listings for sale, agents are able to pull up the properties for sale, set up additional showings, etc.

I do have to admit though, I love my Blackberry 9900. A great touch screen and a tool that is very helpful with all of the real estate items on a day to day basis.

I, too, can use my Blackberry if the need be for the occasional listing. But, if the homework is done correctly, one really shouldn't need to pull up listings when out in the field with clients.

I think some technology is just over-rated to begin with, as though EVERYONE must have one or you're weird. It's all consumerism, consumerism, consumerism. I don't buy it. It looks impressive, but, I still don't buy it.

iPad's are great for marketing and design aspects and would probably prove useful for showing clients different houses while showing one. Basically, you'd be demoing a house for them and if they inquire about others like this one, but bigger, you could prop up the desired home from your iPad.

Seems like the OP and second post slipped right by the mods.

Love my IPAD. Easy to use MLS and look up similar properties and showing instructions and phone to agents. Smart phone is great but screen is small. I used to have to call back to office when I was out showing. Not anymore. I can give comparables on the spot.

Great for listing presentations.
