Hope my question is not recently answered in previous thread, but after reading Texas Gal response to another thread, thought I wouuld ask. Now that things have slowed so much and there is a dogfight for even low paying BPO's. Do you think it would benefit to pay to have BPO's auto-accepted? I've never needed them in the past and and was afraid companies would fire me for using them, but recently there have been too many many times that I have tried to accept only seconds after posted only to find BPO already accepted Maybe just my area, but got to believe the agent that is getting blast order are using auto accept and significantly benefiting by increasing volume. What do you all think?.

I have never used them...just this year got a smart phone...it has helped with CCs...I would be concerned with not being a acceptable practice and potential over whelmed with orders...but I am very old school...I still do everything myself...and most likly will die off like a dinosaur

Me too. Have always used BPO's as a good filler....in case REO's fell off for the month. But with slowing of BPO's and REO's, got to something to suppliment income.

I would post this in the correct forum and you will get more responses....This is the asset manager side and does not have as many peeps as the regular BPO section of the forum...
just my thoughts.

Quite a few of the companies do not like them and they will fire you. It's very easy for them to check who is using them, because that software is checking the site at the same intervals until you shut it off. If they look and see your refreshing orders exactly every 2 minutes (or whatever time you set it for) then they know you are using it. I wouldn't use it personally. Make sure you have a smart phone and it's best to use something like Gmail rather than outlook to get your orders.

You can have auto-accept all day long, but if there aren't orders, there aren't orders.

LOL...YOu can also get booted, most likely, from a whole bunch of mills that do not like their servers pinged over and over.
I would not do it. I keep hearing "some mills do not like it"...none of them do. IT folks hate these things. Somebody else mentioned that they are very easy to spot, and they are.
I wouldn't do it.

Nicole Ocean sent spam out about this today...a monthly price fee and usage fee on top of that. Just another person who wants to have their hand in our pocket. I sure would not opt for that.

I got that too. It came across my BB as from BPOA. The fees are: $49 a month + 5% per-order usage fee (about $2.50 an order).

They had recently sent out an email about their M2M thing, although its not an auto accept, its an auto notify, and it alerts you when an order is on the site. I asked them how they were able to do this, since M2m has a direct stance against auto anything, and their reply was something along the lines of, people ask for it, so we make it. Same with EML.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
