Hello, I am new to this forum and am curious as to whether or not there is a blog available to us? Is there? If so, I cannot find it. Would you mind directing me to the blog page if one exists?

There is no blog on this forum. There are plethora of free blogging sites you can use - my favorite is Wordpress.com, but you can also use Blogger.com. ActiveRain has limited blogging for free (members only; you have to pay to have it visible on search engines). TypePad.com also offers a blogging platform but I believe it is for pay.

Another free blog platform is at Realtown.com The site is run by long time Realtors and is set up for people in some segment of real estate.
And they have a lot of other free goodies on the site too

I'd suggest you use wordpress or blogger. Google seems to prefer those sites so your blogs will rank higher.

I looked at Realtown at one point, it seemed to me it was a lot like Active Rain in that it didn't get indexed unless you paid some money for it. Is that site correct?

I think that you are thinking of another real estate forum site that has blogs attached to it which is real estate webmasters.

No I'm thinking of RealTown. I've know the site owners for over ten years.
I've never heard of Real Estate Webmasters actually
