Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum, so I hope I'm posting this in the right area.

To those of you who have recently taken(within the last few years) the CA Broker exam, what classes & test prep materials were the most helpful?
Not really interested in a cram course, looking for something more long term.

Also, what are the best real estate schools in California?

I have taken a few classes at UCLA but it is expensive and I am looking for a cheaper alternative.

I recently completed all my courses online at http://www.alliedschools.com/ . I had signed up for one course through my community college with the intent of taking the other courses during the summer and hopefully starting up in real estate by fall. The community college lost funding though and was cancelling all their summer sessions. I went online and signed up for courses through Allied for the 2 remaining classes I needed. I finished them in a few weeks and just decided to drop that original community college class and take it online. Start to finish it was like 5 weeks (they limit how quickly you can finish) I'm now awaiting my test date and just using library study books to prepare on my own. Hope that helps!
