I just tried that and it works pretty good. The only thing is your are limited to 60 seconds and there are 3 options for timing for each slide. If you pick slow option, then you cant fit too many pictures. Medium was OK where I could display enough photos but had to cut the end shot. Fast was too fast to be viewable.

I am going to try Microsoft Movie Maker - free edition to generate ones that are slightly over a minute.

Yes, you're right, Nadia. Stupflix recently changed the time limit. But one minute is still enough. Don't go too long on the videos. Remember the idea behind the video is NOT to try to sell the house but to create interest and curiosity so the viewer follows the link to your site. Or the property site.

And of course, if you want to get fancy, MS Movie Maker is a good alternative. Or iMovie on Mac will also put together a nice video quickly.

I remember using PhotoDVD by VSO Software for making slideshows. I think they also have an option of posting directly to Youtube...

You definitely do not want to go much over a minute. Most of my longest tours are usually 1:30 and I think they are a little too long. LOL

Funny tidbit: the first time I tried this, I got two buyers to the open house. It was pouring rain and I didn't expect anyone to come. I asked them how they found out about the open house and they said "Online." I brightened and said "Did you see the youtube video?" And sadly, they had not. They found it in the list of open houses on my office website. LOL. No matter, they put the house under contract. They did promise to go look at the video though.

While that particular video did not necessarily bring folks to the open house it has had a LOT of views and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. Thanks again for the tip Borino - it will certainly help me in my listing presentations!

Yep, you can do this with Movie Maker and movie maker is pretty easy but there is a bit of a learning curve to add the funky effects that stupeflix (dumb name!!!!) adds automatically.

I will make longer videos for some things but in this context, I think Stupeflix is perfect.

Another one to try is Animoto - but I find Animoto a bit annoying. Toooooo hyper. LOL

I like that you can only do 60 second clips. Most people do not watch longer than that.
