Hello!

I'm new to this forum and new to real estate. I got my license last year, but never signed with a broker. I finally decided on a broker, and have turned in my sponsorship form to TREC.
Does anyone know generally how long it takes for one's license to go from inactive status to active status after getting a sponsoring broker? I'm about to go out of my mind each day checking TREC's website to see if my license is showing as "Active" yet.
I'm ready to go to work!!!!!

Since you haven't gotten an answer, I'll step up. As soon as your Broker signs your sponsorship form and it is sent off, you can begin practicing real estate. TREC is SLOW when updating their website... You'll be lucky to see it updated in another month.

AAbbott - I think TREC is getting faster. Mine went to active within 3 days. I was warned it could take up to 5 weeks! I'm thankful it went through quickly. I hope you are active now too. :) Good luck!
