What prompted the original February "Listing Appointment" to begin with?

Time for the goodbye shot. "We have a problem, either you don't trust me or my advice, Or your really not serious about selling this home and buying another at this time, your just playing with the idea. If it's me I'll be happy to suggest a few good agents that you might be more comfortable with, I want you to be happy. If it is that your not really commited to doing something right now, then you should wait until you feel the time is right for you, I will understand if you want to wait until things are right for you and hopefully the future market place will be as good or better for you then it is right now. Prices and interest rates are related, and I can't predict with great accuracy where they wll be down the road but we know where they are today. Would you like to wait until your really ready to commit, or would you like me to suggest a few other agents for you to interview."
I figured a referral fee was better than nothing,if they were really going to do something. 50% of the time they did nothing down the forseeable road with anybody. 15% of the time I lead them to another agent. 35% of the time they got off the fence. But thank heavens they don't come along that often, I've usually have them qualified as keeper's or dumpee's very quickly and things work out.Really don't have the time for fence sitters so I put them on hold.

Referral idea makes no sense. If she doesn't trust you or your judgement, she is not going to use anyone you recommend...

And who said she doesn't trust my judgment Navarac? I would say she is stubborn more then anything.
I have thought of the referral ideal, that's a last ditch effort at this point I think.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
