Need Temporarcy access to CoStar

I recently picked up a client who is actively pursuing commercial apartment buildings in Michigan, but my local MLS does not offer a wide variety of the type of properties he is looking for. I joined loopnet bu they were not much better.
I ran across CoStar and ran a search on their free site, showcase.com, and they had a lot more properties than my MLS and loopnet. The membership is too much to pay, $150 - $400 a month for 12 months, when I just have one client.
If anybody is a member and would be willing to let me gain access for a couple of days I would be willing to compensate.

just spend the money and be legit. you're chasing a big commission so it's worth the investment.

True, it could turn into a big commission, but I don't that type of money to speculate with. Any help would be appreciated.

Twill,
Two points: one, what you are attempting to do is against Co-star's policy; and two, Co-star account access not only requires a login-in but it requires logging in on the computer tied to the user's account. Remote access is available if, as a paying Costar member, you pay to have remote access with a wireless VPN security key. However, I work in a large commercial brokerage firm, and probably only a couple of brokers have the VPN access.
Honestly though, here's a secret that most residential agents trying to do commercial never (or hardley ever) get - a lot of(if not most) deals aren't found on the internet. You have to drive markets - for apartment buildings, you do this by going to where the apartment building is located, going to the management office, finding out who owns the building and then talking with them directly.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
