I am unable to suggest my facebook page to my friends. I can go through the steps, but it either doesn't complete the task or my friends never receive the suggestion.

Is any one else having this problem?

So they want me to advertise to get people to look at it? I just had one of my friends suggest his page to me a couple of weeks ago. I was really planning on having my friends like mine to get it started.

I think you can send a message to "share" to up to 20 per time, but you can't suggest friends anymore. It's a big PITA.

So I have to just share a post with friends and hope they 'like' the page?

I don't spend a dime especially on stuff like this.If they start charging I go elsewhere.

Actually I am incorrect - they just MOVED the suggest to friends link - it's now to the right side of the page.

BK - I haven't had a problem with it. I recommended it to 3 people today without a problem. If the suggestion is still pending, it won't let you do it again though.

Thanks, I've been trying to send it to my wife to see how the page looks to her. Maybe she missed the first notice and now I can't send it again.

No, I tried it with someone else today. On my page, I have 'get started', and I click 'suggest to friends', then click on the friend I want to send it to. I am using firefox, and I can see it is attempting to send the request, but it doesn't go through. I tried it with IE also, but that doesn't work either.

That is bizarre. I use google chrome. Is there someone you can contact at FB?

Are you sure your suggestions are going through? I found this thread at facebook support:

I was looking to do this the other day. I thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find the option. I agree it's a bad change and a real PITA.

Try this instead:

1. Go back to your own personal profile
2. Select "Friends" on the left hand side
3. Click "Edit Friends" box at the top
4. Click "Create a List
5. GO through and manually select all the people you want to message and save list
6. Go back to home screen
7. Select "Messages"
8 Click "New Message"
9. Type the name of the new group you just formed
10. Type the message with your pages URL

Thanks for the tips, Josh. The only problem was that I can only send to 20 friends at a time, so I had to make several groups with 20 members each. Other than that, it wasn't too painful.

FB is supposed to support the current FBML

Yep, we're already working on putting together the new system for the iframes. It should be up and running within the next couple days. I guess it helped to know that this was coming a couple months ago!

you can share with your friend through chat and if you are thinking to share with all your friend once then you have option to share using a suggest to friend which is on bottom left side of your page

I have not had a problem with this on facebook. i think it is a very good marketing tool and if it is used correctly. Maybe you should double check that you are clicking the right button.
