Anyone able to comment on this company? They have me bidding a trashout and repair... however, my google search of this company has turned up some negative feedback. I wanted to see if anyone on this forum had any dealings with them or has actually performed work AND been paid?

Chris ~

Is this the company based in Arizona? If so, I haven't seen anything good about them so far. Maybe do some more searching and make sure so you don't get burned?

Hey Linda,
Was hoping to hear from you on this one. No, they are out of Ohio. They were featured as a sponsor for the last FIVE STAR Conference which should give them some ounce of credibility, but that's the only good thing I can find.

Chris, They are a legit company. The owner Vern is nice. I did a few hundred thousand dollars worth of work for them when they had the TBW contract. They paid every 2 weeks consistantly. I have done very little for them since the TBW contract was lost. They are there in your area. Good luck with the bids. Is Tony your contact there?

Thanks, Chris. Glad you set the record straight. The only one I knew of was the one in Arizona.

BASREO ~ I appreciate your post. It's always nice to get feedback on who's doing right by their vendors and who's not.

Thanks for the feedback on this company. Shannon is listed as the contact in my area. This order is for full trashout and rehab including carpet and paint, so there will be a decent amount of money put out.

Yeah, that makes sense. It has stickers originally from Safeguard for the wint. The google search just really bashed this company big time especially on ripffreport... it's reassuring that you had a good experience with them

Chris, I looked at the rip off report. In my opinion, this seems like a pissed off vendor. I would bet that it had something to do with bad and or incomplete photos of the job performed. Like any preservation company, things sometimes get rejected for lack of proof of work. The person who runs the company then needs to decide if they are going to fix it and get paid or just simply write it off and be done. It sounds to me like he decided to write it off. I have done it and I am sure we all have. A QC to drive 60-80 miles one way for a photo on a job that pays under $50 is just not worth it to me. I will just let it go unless I am already going to the area for something else. IFS has paid out just under $400,000 to my crews in the 18 months we did business with them so they are all good in my books. I would do more work for them anytime if they called me.

bsareo: Thanks for all of your feedback on this. Your posts have definitly helped ease my mind. Sounds like you have done some significant work for them. I was wondering the same about the ripoff reports because unfortunately there are people who get in to this business and just don't understand what the banks want completed or how they want it completed. I'll submit my bid and keep everyone posted. Thanks again!

They still owe me $2,000. The owner said they took some heavy losses and they are trying to catch up. I think they were doing a lot of work for Altisource.

BadAsset: Did they pay you for other jobs you have completed?
