Let me first say that I'm not interested in working with an agent at this time. However, I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer in reference to my current needs.

I am finding it impossible to find a site that will allow me to search for available properties nationwide. I have no interest in searching for a particular city or state. My criteria for said property is specific enough that I'm not expecting to get an enormous amount of properties to sift through. But, for whatever reason, no one (that I can find) offers this option.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a specific site that allows this in which I can do the searches myself whenever I choose?

I can't think of any site where you can do a nationwide search. You're probably going to have to search by geographic area one at a time, and try to expand the search out as far as you can.

Once you do the searches, you still will most likely need an agent to get you in the door to see the properties you're interested in.

Personally, I'm interested to know why you're trying to find properties all over the country, and not just in a more specific area.

As they say in real estate the 3 most important things are Location, Location & Location. So there is no need for a national search for almost all buyers. Hence nobody has spent the money or time to develop this type of free specialized tool.

Well, kinda' late but agreeing with most postings here that you would have to narrow down your search somewhat. Or Google by TYPE of property desired and maybe a nationwide listing can be found that way (i.e. condos, commercial).

The database would be very large, so it would take quite a bit to get the results of an individual search. I can't see a huge market for such a site, so I would have to say good luck finding it, please post results if you do.

I've been using realestate.ozfreeonline.com for years in searching huge lists of properties internationally.

If you want to do this task on your desk then internet is the most suitable resource to do it. There you can find a huge number of real estate and property portals related with the required country you want to search in. Another but a little hard way is to search out for the property by visiting yourself. Real estate agents are the updated resource to help out in this.

Not interested with any agent? You can contact with some companies as well doing these.
