Not aware of any application acceptance letter. You'll get an email from LS saying they approved or disapproved your application, provided you filled one out and sent it in, in the first place. You are now aware. Anyhoot, I sent my application in and had a thumbs up less than 24 hours later.
What did you acceptance letter say?
Attached is your fully executed Broker Provider Services Agreement. Please keep a copy of this for your records.
This completes the application process. You’ll be contacted within the next few months, via email, concerning the next step in the process to become active in Landsafe’s system. The way you currently receive and complete (transmit) order assignments is not changing.

I bolded the words I feel should be noticed. This is a process so it seems, not just a one time ordeal. I e-mailed them everything last Wednesday, and have yet to hear back from them. Either way, if/when I get the same approval e-mail I am not thinking I am all good to go indefinitely.

I doubt seriously they have the time or will go the expense to do a background check on 10,000 bpo agents in their syatem. It would take all of this year to complete that process plus the man hours BOA does not have to spare right now. I wasn't really referring to the background check of the application. It's just their wording of the approval e-mail leaves it open for this process to continue and evolve over time. That's just how I am reading it.

Don't wait too long if you are doing any good volume with them. Rumor has it many are and will be cut off very soon that have not filled it out. Hmmm. They gave us until Feb 18th to complete the application.

Everything I have seen on their website speaks of Appraisal services, appraisal package, appraisal application...I see nothing of broker price opinions....is the appraisal app what you all used? I would not think so...

LS agents have to fill a service agreement and application package in order to keep their status current. That's what they're talking about... LS hasn't been hiring in my area for the last 2 years... That's why you don't see anything about bpos application on their website... I can give you a good contact if you wanna try maybe ur the lucky one... lol..

For some reason LS is having a problem receiving my Service Agreement. I have sent it from yahoo and google, to two separate individuals and they have not received it. The other docs I sent in a separate email but the service agreement is 25 pages and I thought it might be too big.
Can you reduce a pdf file some kind of way?
Does anyone have a suggestion on how I get this agreement to them successfully?
Thanks.

After you filled out the agreement at the botton of the pdf file you need to click on the box that says submit by email. You need to create an electronic signature in order to complete both agreements.(agreements needs to be fill by computer, not by hand). After you save it upload the agreements and you shouldn't have any problems.

7-14 days due to the background check it takes a while... That seems like a lot because I just received my executed agreement and it only took 2-3 days.

Where did you guys get the application? or how did they find you to send you an application? They were sent to the already-approved broker network that is currently working for LS.

by mail? I have been working with them for 4 years and did not receive anything. Now I'm all worried after reading this. By email and only to FL and CA agents to get things rolling. They will go Nationwide eventually as they roll out the new platform. Over in the Private BPO-REO forum, the Original post I had actually started here about the announcement has the entire LS Email with the details.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
