I'm a new name here but not new in the biz. Just took me until now to find this place.

It might not feel the same as before...but it doesnt feel like it used to either...It all about how you feel...I still feel good about it...I have watched maybe 3 or 4 turnovers here now...Thats the nature of a forum...I think this sand box will always be the place to be...I have fun here...

I still feel like a Newbie. This is a good place to check out your thinking.

I read most of what others have to say . . . . and when I'm compelled to say something, I have never felt intimidated in posting it. Sometimes it helps to have someone else shed a little more light on a subject . . . . and sometimes it just helps to simply verify that there can be other points of view.

I like that there's a permanent record kept here so I can see when I disagree with myself. I sometimes use the Forum as a Notepad to put in words, or "draft" thoughts that are destined to be delivered to less anonymous audiences. The Forum has served me well in that regard.

And sometimes, after I write something here, and see what my thoughts look like in print, I opt to not send them to those other "possibly" less-forgiving entities. Sometimes I foolishly go ahead anyway and regret it.

Now that's a lot of "I"s. Next time I'll talk more about "me".

Many who established themselves years ago network with each other via e-mail, PMs and other message boards thus don't "need" this outlet as a way of sharing ideas or communicating with each other. JMO

I completely agree. This forum was great for learning about the business and I believe it still is. These days it is a break room for me and my "go to" when Landsafe/CW is acting up.... which lately is often. I do think it is interesting how well behaved and calm it is around here considering the lack of mod participation we currently have. Its like teenagers being left alone for the weekend and actually behaving! ;-)

Always nice to know your feedback possibly helped someone. Not being so selfish and new to this medium, I have helped a few already. It's a great feeling, try it sometime ! It's not all about me in all states.

Some mods seem to do more harm than good. It's completely weird to watch becoming a mod change a person's personality and style of interacting here.

I do lurk and read when I have time. And I've only posted again because it's taken on a different tone here. I use it to check my "is it just me" meter. Usually it's not just me. Hehehe.
