Somehow, I find that far more offensive than just failing to pay, or being slow in paying. This can't be chalked up to delays in accounting. This sounds like a deliberate breach of their agreement with you (if you have it in writing).

Did you let them know already that you wouldn't be taking any more Orders from them so that they could take advantage of you in this manner? And I do understand your reluctance to chase them further when you're in Jersey and they're in Jacksonville.

I'm all paid up with Evil . . . . and it's at 100% of what they owed me and 100% of what they were committed to pay. If they pulled a stunt like that on me, I guess I'd be making a trip down to Jacksonville very soon.

I just got a request for a BPO in an area I normally don't cover as it is a bit of a drive and they wanted to know my fee and turnaround time. I responded back $100 by Sunday.

I have a feeling they won't accept my offer. Of course, I should have included "paid in advance".

Got my check today in the mail. I ran to the bank to deposit it before they decide they don't want me to get paid.

I usually quote $250 - stops the phone calls

yesterday they sent me an auto-assign, 18-hour TAT, for $45.... I called them and told them it would cost them $275 for an 18 rush order... order fell off my list

I'm trying to get my head around that. I didn't think a Company like Evil Soul had such a thing as Auto-Assign . . . . and then you are allowed to negotiate? Doesn't Auto-Assign go hand-in-hand with acceptance of a Firm's Fees ?

I can't imagine a torture on this earth much worse than allowing Evil's Assignments and Fees to automatically be placed in my queue !

I have only accepted their Orders when my services are solicited by the most convincing Boiler Room Girl, and MY Fee is agreed to in writing; but I haven't been so convinced in over a year now . . . . and I am all paid up.

I'm just amazed that they're continuing to function.

I had a little fun with these guys. I signed up long ago and I FINALLY got an order. FINALLY! Low pay, 18 hour turn around, you know the drill. I did take the photos and I did open the form (I confess!). And then I started thinking about what jerks these guys were. So, I waited a few hours, until it was due. Then I emailed them. Told them that after reviewing their forms and looking at the information they wanted (OMGosh! The address of the listing agent for EVERY comp???) that I started googling to see what it was all about. And THEN i saw all the posts about how they dont pay and that I was unwilling to do work for them. The lady got so mad, you could feel it in her email and told me FINE, that i could believe what i wanted to read on the internet. Like it was some dirty word!!! I told her I had additional validation from friends (you guys are my friends, I am a lonely girl). So, she once again said FINE and that they would take me off the list.

This was Friday. well, yesterday (Monday), I got another email asking me to do an order. I said I would love to, but oddly enough they never got back to me.

Oh, and on the offer on Friday I said I would take it and then the next day when I went to work on it they said it was assigned to another agent and they were So sorry. I told them no, you offered it to me and they did open it up, but I bet anything they intended to allow me and the other agent to do it and just never pay me.

well, I know it was terribly juvenile to play the little game I played, but I thought I could cause them a little stress, just a little taste of what they have done to all of you.

Paybacks can be great. The sad fact is you put yourself at their level. I play this from a different angle. When I receive a call from one of the "no pay...slow pay" companies, I just inform them of their national reputation. Have any of them tried to improve their status? NO.......We have many members that depend on BPO's as their major source of income. I have no use for any company that plays this game. You can't feed the family or put a roof over their heads with "the checks in the mail". We're in a serious recession....EVERY ORDER COUNTS........just my two cents.

Spot on Candy--I have told them the same thing and that is all of the time I am going to invest in them. I keep my response to a minimum as any other time invested in them is keeping me away from revenue generating activity. I have UTLS requests routed straight to my junk mail as well. I have a certain amount of time for BPOs, I am not going to spend any of it on deadbeat companies.

Many months ago, I posted "I'll chase you to the gates of Hell for $20....for another $10, I'll chase you inside". I have no use for game players.

Actually, no, I don't have really any time on my hands, but every now and then I amuse myself with some random event.
