I have been pondering something after reading some other threads on here. What if you and another local BPO agent "swapped" lists weekly? You would provide the other BPO agent w/ the BPOs that you did that were possible short sale listings and vice versa? Would this be a problem? I have gotten approached a few times to list the BPO contact/homeowner's home for short sale, but didn't feel right since I did the BPO. But, what is the crime in giving another agent a shot and vice versa providing that you do not give them the BPO value? Is this okay or not? It seems okay since you are helping out another agent and giving yourself a chance to list some short sales, as well.
