I completely agree with Doin' - good for you for getting where you are right now. No sense pushing yourself over the limit. You'll get there!

Another point I thought of later to offer to you Brad...you might consider stopping altogether for a time, say 6 or 8 weeks or more and cross train. You will come back stronger.

I woke up this Thanksgiving morning and told myself no more "walls". So when that 8 - 10 mile feeling of calling it a day crept in, I pushed myself and did it! While it wasn't fast, I logged a 13.1 in 3:03. I am so happy of the accomplishment and keeping the resolution. It may have taken me a full 11 months to do it, but I did it!!!!!!

I hope everyone else had a great Turkey Day as well. 26.2 for 2012? We'll see.....

First time I've seen this thread...I see some did not fully complete their goals, but, there's still time left. So glad I didn't see this thread earlier in the year.

Although, my goal is to double my transactions next year. A personal goal of stopping smoking would be nice, but, it's the only time I relax (other than watching TV). I suppose a really good bronchitis attack would help push me forward. When it became EXTREMELY humid this summer for about 2 weeks (the air was so thick with humidity), I had my first attack. Amazing the struggle to breath - could barely make it to the mailbox (about 400 feet - uphill) without having to stop to rest until my tubes relaxed. I'll give it some serious thought but I cannot do it during Thanksgiving nor Christmas holiday...waaaaay too much family stress (in-law family stress).

Adam, here's a little DIY tip....use sand paper, rather than your bare hands. It works much better. :O)

My goals this year are to up my business. DO whatever I can to make it better than it is and make sure my customers are satisfied as well.
