I have recieved an offer from a very large development company in town. I will be selling all of their property in a very large radius. Some property hours away and will require flying. (The company has a private jet.) Most will be sold privately, but some may be listed with the company I currently work for (I will be leaving my license with them). I will be recieving salary + bonuses or commission. They have asked me to put together what I would like. Question is, what would be a fair pay and commission? It would be approximately 35 to 50 million dollars in property a year. Please help!! I have to meet again on Monday.

Think you should check with Jim Lee on Tenn Law. Don't think you can work in a real estate activity as an agent for a brokerage and a developer. Most state consider that the same as working for two brokerages which is illegal.

They could possibly "hire" you through your brokerage. Are you licensed to work as a real estate agent in all the areas you will be flying to?? Can't really imagine flying to very many locations within Tennessee itself.

I'm sure Jim can give you the specifics for your state, he has been in Tennessee real estate since the Appalachian mountains were first formed.
