blush I kept pressuring one of my bpo vendors for more orders and questioning if there could be ANYthing in my profile that could prevent me from receiving more orders, always kept getting no everything is A OK.........but a manager shared with me this weekend that it MIGHT be that one of their clients liked more comments and more detailed explanation of pricing. So, lesson learned : one or two statements that always seem obvious, declining market yadayadayada might still need to be stated in detail despite the fact that I might think it obvious when reporting the number of listings versus sales, median list and sell prices etc. I thought with cmas I included, and statistics I recite in the addendum, I was doing enough..........apparently not!

phone call; in response to extended email to them.
The gal was really nice, she mentioned " all my positives" and sited that as my only negative but it left a pretty big impression on me. (reminded me that the client needs my verbage as much as he needs my price opinion)

Yep, I had a very similar response from one of my AMs too. Apparently, you cannot assume the end client will be someone that readily understands how the market works.. So I dumbed my stuff down.. And wah lah... Now they are happy. LOL

Oh I'm sure they understand I think it is still the case of CYOA What they have in print from us, is more valuable than what we assume "everyone" knows. Those reports are paid for pieces of expertise, and as "the expert" in this case we better spell it all out for everyone. It's easy NOT to write a lengthy addendum because we think the report and statistics make the list price obvious. Especially when not every company even has the space or requires comments for everything.....every form is so different, but what I'm putting in my head is that it's my choice to take the assignment $45 or $50 doesn't matter to the guy at the other end of the line.......the asset companies are charging bigger bucks to them and they want the whole package
