In Minnesota, there are several Section 8 Housing Authorities that assist approved renters with housing. There is a decent market for this here in Minnesota, but generally speaking, catering to the low-income demographic has its own set of logistics and formalities. Like with any investment, just do your research first, and be comfortable with the responsibilities that come with the various investment vehicles. Good luck!

Maybe try to find out what makes your property has low income. If it because of economic crisis in the place, try to wait until the economy will go strong. If there is a problem in your property, try to renovate it and re-paint it for the beautification that makes your property earn more rentals.

Exactly. Check with Department of Housing and Urban Development. Remember, even people with low incomes can manage to pay the rent one way or another. Lot's of people have success with Section 8 properties. It's guaranteed money! Even if the state is broke, they didn't just kick everyone out of the homes they have been paying for. It may be rough going, but most counties are still paying their section 8 bills.

California DOESN'T HAVE ANY MONEY!
No problem, the federal government will simply print new currency, and give it to the States!!

I have been renting to section 8 tenants for 10 yrs.I love it! They pay one third of their income, the government pays the rest..on time deposited in my acct on the first. Its a federal program, not the state.I am in California.I really like it because I have very little turnover and the rents are pretty high.Really helped to stabilize my investments;consistent cash flow.

Well investors believe that property business would be rise again and people find many choices where to invest. No doubt property investment is a safe and better way than others but people should realize the circumstances effect the businesses. Sometime we get a big return and sometime even nothing. As every one know "something is better than nothing" people should plan to save less and invest big.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
