One of my main clients just switched over to two of the big national PP companies one of them being Safeguard.
Safeguard keeps sending me broker feedback requests. I don't have time to do this kind of thing because I"m too busy babysitting their work!
Do any of you fill these out?

Yes, and with a CC to my asset manager. Thanks for the info...... The A.M. I'm working with are up in arms with the entire process... Can't hurt I guess. They should make it easier though..... why is it up to us to enter the loan number, the address, this, that. Shoot just link to a form so I can fill it out and be on my way! OK-- end rant.

I have to say Safeguard has been doing a good job on my Fannie Mae properties this year. Not perfect but not bad by any means. Fnma agents are required to fill out those rating sheets to see how good of a job they are doing.

I'd rather do accounting and front money for my own guys to do the work. I don't have to babysit them- at all. Seems like there is already enough people in the mix without adding in another. I'm fairly new to REO so what do I know.... Take it and smile right?

I agree that they should pre-populate their BSO forms with the identifying info, especially since they insist on using stupid loan number as an identifier rather than the Fannie number or even the address. They would have a much higher compliance rate, and they obviously have the information at hand, since they include it in the email that requests the BSO. One-time programming effort to merge the information onto their forms versus needless effort over and over again on the part of every agent for every single property... it all means that they are not being at all agent-sensitive. They do not value my time, and that is obvious.

Phoenix-- that's a good point.
Liz-- it blew my mind when I clicked on the link and had to enter in all of that information. I mean C'mon--really?
BUT
after filling out a couple of forms I got this feeling like they really don't care about my opinion as much as they want a fall guy to blame should something not be done correctly.
Maybe it's just me.....

Are they still in business? There was only one working online yesterday and I asked her how come I have not received an order for the last few months. I didn't get an answer. I did 75 orders the first 9 months with them last year and all of a sudden nothing.

I got a listing middle of January. Safegard sent an email to my AM that I had let the grass die. It was brown and I was not watering. They did the winterization. They are just CYA in case of maybe fire. EVERYONES GRASS IS BROWN IN JANUARY. Wonder if it is a strike against me? Hope AM has common sense.

Safeguard is alive and well but their primary area of interest is providing preservation services. I started doing BPO's for them about six years ago and never had many orders at once. I have since joined their team as a field inspector and do about a thousand orders a month! I am now a zone manager for property preservation services servicing many REO properties in northern Ohio. It took a long time to get in but I must say they are loyal to their associates and they pay every week like clock work! I work my butt off for them and keep my staff at RPM LLC working seven days a week. I am proud to be part of their team!

Thought it was just me forgetting to give them my updated license or something. I haven't had an order since Dec. 09.

Yeah, my question to her is still hanging out there and she hasnt replied. So I take it they might be out of the BPO biz.

To answer your question, they are 100% still active but BPO's are not their primary focus. They pay like clock work within 45 days and offer a $10 bonus for timely submission and passing QC within 24 hours. They never offered much as far as quantity but they are a quality company that pays

Well Karl, you must be in the minority in receiving work with them. I averaged ten a month with them 2/3 through 2010 and then nothing. Every time I go over to the site I only see one person(the same one) on the site. They used to have 4 or 5 at all times. I hope they get back into the game cause I sure do miss them.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
