My mom's tenants just moved, it's in an area where not too many properties are listed on the MLS, it's usually done by owner. I'm not sure if to go ahead and try through the MLS & pay a commission or have her do it by owner. Of course, I always help her. The last tenants moved out within 3 months & it was a nightmare to collect the early termination fee. What do you guys suggest?
I recommend Craigslist and Rentometer, and/or the local newspaper, for residential lease units if you're going to do it yourself. Personally, I don't bother with MLS listings for lease properties. Best of luck,
This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however.
