I think starting the new year with new business strategy was excellent idea, You can think about your money, how much for your advance and how much for investing.
Investing on the real estate are not only have the profit, some time you will find some risk on it.
You can try on this business.
I did it from 1998 and have the profit on it... so .. what are you waiting for..
good luck

I agree with fsbo. For the first time in awhile, real estate is local.

My strategy comes down to the right formula. It doesn't matter what the market is like, if the numbers work, do it. With the rates as low as they are now and the abundance of properties (opportunities), you can make great investments happen in any area.

"Buy low + sell high" is always a good rule-of-thumb. With the market depressed like it is currently, it is a great time for investors to pick up properties at bargain rates if they are able to hold onto them until the economy picks up to full speed. If you have the resources, invest now. This economy is finally starting to turn around, and we will see property prices going back up soon enough!

The new year is coming soon and I wanted to know you guys thoughts on the outlook for Real Estate for 2011?
Is it a year to invest? Should I hold on to my money? Does it depend? Thoughts? The election broke beautifully for real estate, with a sound rebuke handed to the statist/collectivist/socialist party in power. Hopefully cap and trade is truly dead, hopefully ALL tax cuts will be extended, and hopefully Obamacare can be picked apart like the dead carcass it needs to become. I am now much more optimistic than before and will ramp up my marketing campaigns for an exciting Spring market.

To each his own, but the American people have said "enough!" to the statist-collectivists-socialists. And if you think this rebuke was bad, wait until 2012. The future is bright, for people who want to work. For the rest, goodbye and get out of my country.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
