Are you as confused as I am? not sure how to do BPO's with the new system, do you? can't do under CMA ? as most all info incorrect, don't like to rely on realist bad SF info, still using tax roll to verify- I am at a total loss wth FUSION- my mind's not set up like that- maybe I just don't like change?
How 'bout it Super Realtor..pls give me input- 7706054436

I can't figure it out, either. Where is the locator on the map? Why can't we search for a RANGE of year built? I hate it!

Ditto. I've dinked about with Fusion and came to the conclusion that it is a solution begging for an answer... The interface is clunky as hell and it removes some very critical datamining/analytic tools.

Here's hoping that 1st Connection doesn't get removed entirely. Fusion seemed to have about as much datamining usefulness as GaMLS...

FMLS is saying that 1st Connection is entirely gone as of Jan. 1, 2010. :(

Is anyone on here from Georgia that has successfully mastered Fusion? I have several questions and would rather ask someone who actually utilizes it rather than a CA at FMLS.

I use FUSION and I am a part of the beta test group for the product.

To answer the question about the question about searching for a RANGE of values, the system can absolutely do this. Here's what you have to do:

When you look at a search field, say YEAR BUILT, you'll see the default operator which in this case is "IS". If you click on "IS" you will get a drop down menu which will allow you to change the operator from "IS" to "BETWEEN". This functionality works on almost any search field in FUSION.

In some cases there are multiple options similar to "CONTAINS", "AT LEAST", "AT MOST"...etc

Hope this helps!

NOW is the time to collectively tell FMLS the problems you are having with FUSION.

Maybe they will grant an extension for the old system while they are working on the new system.

They are not going to get rid of the new system so we all can't change that as there is too much time and money invested.

Instead of "IT SUCKS" a more productive approach with only having 2 months left before you have to use the new system is to get right on the problems and tell them what to fix.

No problem! I'm not quite sure what you mean by "find the locator" can you be more specific or provide an example? If I can, I'll be glad to help!

I agree Super. I think that FUSION is actually pretty cool. Although, I will concede that there is a learning curve. It does everything we do today plus some. It just takes a little time to get used to performing different keystrokes.

I myself struggled in the beginning, but if you can just force yourself to use the new system rather than defaulting to 1st connection, it'll get easier.

Happy transitioning! smile

COLLECTIVELY!!! Absolutely, I have emailed them at least 3X and spoke with support, of course support shifted me right back to management, as he didn't know what I was talking about- I have tried several dry runs now and cannot figure out quite a few things on FUSION, all I know is, some of us will be LEFT BEHIND, unless FMLS has a heart and will have a special session for BPO agents only- or keep 1 st connection on longer than Jan 1- if not, it will have a very bad affect on my livelyhood- all of us will need to contact FMLS ASAP so we have enough time to learn and get caught up to this lates technology- RE agents in general don't have the same mindset as IT people, didn't they realize that?? We are primarily people problem solvers not techies, well most of us.........LOL

Anyone else notice the new message that Fusion is going to be our only choice as of March?

Yep! Doesn't make much difference to me though; I've been using FUSION exclusively for nearly a year now.

Do you have to type .jpg every time you save a photo? Also, do you find the distance tool on the map sort of "sketchy" when pulling it out?

Prince -

You know, I don't have to type the file type extension when downloading photos. It works just fine for me, but...I use a MAC.

Although I will say that sometimes I have trouble enlarging a map area using the tools (circle, rectangle, etc.) I was attributing that to the fact that I use the trackpad on my MacBook. But, if you're having an issue as well, it just might be a problem.

I feel as thought the world ends March 27th.....Fusion appears to be slow and cumbersome. I have used hotsheets for years to stay on top of the market for all my clients....I can currently do this in First Connection with 6 clicks and can review all new listings, back on market, reduced. etc. in less than 30 minutes....now it takes forever

It took me two days of doing BPOs for 8 hrs. each day, but I can now use it as quickly as I was using 1st Connection. There was a learning curve, though.
