Can you identify this movie based on this memorable quote?

You can't beat me on the grade!

Hint # 1 A very prolific and respected actor (since passed) played the lead.

Hint # 2 A very accomplished director in one of his first films.

Hint # 3 Plymouth

I muffed Hint # 1. I confused Dennis Hopper with the actual Dennis **** who is also known for riding a horse in his movies and sporting a cowboy hat, often in urban settings. Not sure if he is currently living or dead.

Hint # 4 rear view mirror

I don' tknow and I don't want to google it and cheat. So while we're waiting, I'll add one of my own:

You fool!! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders! The most famous; never get involved in a land war in Asia. But only slightly less well known is this; never go in against a Sicilian, when death is on the line

Hint: Buttercup

Princess Bride??
I've developed an immunity to isacane powder.
My wife loves that movie.

Better hints for mine. The director is Steven Spielberg. The actor is Dennis Weaver. It was a one word title. It had a lot of highway driving.

I'll give the answer in a little. I did not realize it was such an obscure movie.

Yes, Duel. Thanks for playing.
Dennis is getting chased by this guy in a Semi truck. He is getting nervous and hits a steep hill to try to escape...saying, You can't beat me on the grade!

I guess that was a bad way to start the thread. I will try do think of a better one.

Duel is the answer.

How about this one? Another of my wife's favorite movies.

"Two Utah, Get me two."

Hint Utah is the last name of an injured college football player (now FBI agent), Johnny Utah.

Hint Skydiving and surfing are a big part of the movie

Hint Gary Busie played the character who spoke the quote.

.....he distinctly said "to blave" and as well as know "to blave" means "to bluff". So you're probably playing cards and he cheated!

Love that movie....

I don't know the Utah one but I'll add my own.....

"That's pretty dangerous building a road in the middle of the street!"

Hint : Character also had a syndicated TV show.

Hint Gary Busie played the character who spoke the quote.

additonal hint One of the main characters was played by an actor who recently died of pancreatic cancer, also starred in many movies where he was able to show his exceptional dancing ability.

additional hint Bank robbers dressed as former presidents.

Good guess, but this was Point Break. Patrick Swazye was right on though. Other actor was Keanu Reeves. Swayze and his crew were bank robbers who were also hardcore surfers. Johnny Utah had to learn to surf and win over Bohdi (Patrick S.) to break the ring up.

They were on a stake out (Johnny and his ponchy partner) when Utah went to get lunch. The partner said he wanted two sandwiches not one calling out, "Two Utah, get me two."

I was in the dark. GREASE had come to mind on that one.

In my mind, John Travolta will always be Vinny Babarino.
