Does anyone have any good or bad experiences with contact software programs such as:top producer, ACT, constant contact, or others.
Right now i'm using a combo of excel, and outlook. I like some aspects of this combo, but it's lacking some features i would like to see.
I do a ton of e-mails, not much calling on the phone. I'm very tech savvy and web based. I just need to find the right software to keep me organized.
The main features i'm looking for are:
1.Easily organized contacts... I have a couple thousand e-mail addresses. I would like to them in easily sortable categories.
2.The option to set up a contact on an automated e-mail campaign. With an "unsubscribe" button in the e-mails.
3.The ability to create the e-mail campaign. I don't like using generic e-mails. I want to create the campaign, save it, then put it into automated action.
4.The ability to mass e-mail specific groups without the e-mails going into spam. Of course the e-mail will have an unsubscribe button.
I would love to hear some feedback, and success stories.
Thank You!

You should give Busy Agent Pro a try. It does everything you mention plus a whole lot more. With you being tech savvy and web based you would appreciate their social networking tools, texting platforms and websites. They have a webinar showing all the features, but I can't post a link or it will get flagged as spam by some TP lovers. You can find the webinar link on their website www.busyagentpro.com about halfway down the page.

Anyone out there have ideas on this? I've been looking for some new software myself, and I haven't been able to find anything that I'm really satisfied with. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am in the same boat. I have looked at most of the solutions out there, and I think that Salesforce is the best, hands down. The only drawback is that it can get spendy, to have it do what i want it to do it is $65/month.
For a real estate specific CRM, take a look at moresolds.com. It is pretty good, and getting better. And the price is right.

What specific challenges are you looking to software to resolve? I think it is highly presumptuous to recommend anything without first understanding your needs. I have transactions closing monthly, and have never used TP or BAP.

Try Agent Control (www.agentcontrol.com) - I'm not just suggesting it cause I helped develop it, it truly is the most revolutionary and cost effective thing out there and the only one that is all inclusive. You can run every aspect of your business for less than $35.00 a month with no contracts, set-up fees, or hidden crap. I helped create it specifically to help agents by pass the slew of garbage out there.

This Google Custom search may do a better job of searching the forums for some keywords than the old forum search does. The results do not include threads from the Asset Managers Forum however. To search that forum you will need to be actually in the Asset Managers Forum and you will need to use the old forum search below.
