I see people staying in there homes without paying about 1 to 2 years here. People talk about it freely as if it is part of their game plan. I don't know a home. I work 60 + hours aweek to pay rent. It doesn't seem fair.
You're right. Its not fair.
All moral hazard was removed from the mortgage industry when the Federal Gov't repealed Glass-Steagall and decided to insure very bad loans which should have never been written and the organized crooks took advantage of it all.
What you're feeling is normal and understandable - when we see others "get theirs" "where's mine?" is the next question. When we see crooks benefit and even HIGHLY PROSPER at our expense, we see the injustice - it's so OBVIOUS.
Spin-masters are spinning and throwing facts and figures at us - threatening to blow up the economy if the Big Players don't get their way aka another bailout and more consolidation and less regulation and taxes.
While our kids walk to school because they cut bus service. While Social Security doesn't get a cost of living increase but food, rent, gas, and utility prices are jumping.
Where do we go from here, now that morality is OBSOLETE?
